Provides strategic leadership and direction for a team of managers and individual contributors in the administration and support of enterprise databases and customer database platforms and products. Develops customer service department procedures. Works cross functionally with other business leaders, and on business issues that affect and improve team goals.
– Managing senior technical staff and multiple projects
– Ability to quickly turn business requirements into design specifications, including relational database design, that can then be handed off for development
– Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations
– Strong understanding of and problem solving skills in:
SQL queries, PL/SQL code and Database architecture Oracle Databases
– Bilingual English & French
– BSc. or equivalent in Computer Science or MIS
– 5+ years in a fast-paced, high energy environment
– 4+ years in a team lead position or higher
– Excellent communication skills
