Our client is looking for an intermediate SQL database developer to work with the Information Technology team for six months.

Your responsibilities will include:
– Implement best practices and performance improvements to our SQL Server database
instance
– Troubleshoot, enhance and optimize existing SQL code
– Review existing data integration processes and automate where possible
– Standardize monitoring and notifications
– Additional tasks as assigned by the Associate Director, Information Technology

Experience
– Bachelor’s Degree with a major in computer science, system analysis or a related field
required.
– Minimum 5 years as a SQL Database Administrator with Microsoft SQL Server
– Minimum 3 years as a SQL developer with Microsoft SQL Server
– Knowledge of database monitoring tools
– Excellent written and oral communication skills
