We are looking for several MS SQL DBAs to start immediately.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for SQL Server (2005/2008) Production DBA tasks that includes back-ups, performance tuning, indexing, database optimization, monitoring database replication, data security, assisting with code releases, and 24 x 7 support.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

-5+ years SQL Server Production DBA experience (2005/2008).

-Strong T-SQL experience / shell scripting.

-Experience within a large database environment.

-Experience with Log Shipping, Transactional Replication, Back-ups, Recovery, Performance tuning, indexing, and Security.

-Experience with SQL Management Studio, Profiler, PerfMon, Query Analyzer.

-Excellent communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

NICE TO HAVE:

– MySQL / DB2 experience

EDUCATION:

-Bachelor’s Degree required.
