Senior Datawarehouse Developer

. A data warehouse does not currently exist within the organization and will be built from the ground up. The environment is Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Edition (on a 3-node cluster) with SharePoint 2010.

Requirements

• Provide full SDLC expertise of data warehouse development

• Design, develop and maintain ETL processes with the help of team members

• Develop approaches for maintaining in production optimized DW solutions

• Review functional requirements to give development estimates and product development

Qualifications

• Proven expertise with Data warehouse and ETL design and development with minimum of 4 years of full data warehouse project development

• Experience with identifying, analyzing and translating business requirements into conceptual, logical and physical data models in complex, multi-application environments

• Experienced in creating, reviewing and presenting Source Systems Analysis and Source-To-Target mapping across Staging, Integration and Presentation layers

• Experienced in identifying and documenting data integration issues, challenges such as duplicate data, non-conformed data, and unclean data

• Experienced in incrementally building Staging, Operation Data Stores and Dimensional data marts

• Practical knowledge of modern RDBMS and OLAP

• Expert level knowledge in designing and implementing data warehouses, including star schema, dimensions and fact tables

• 5+ years experience in T-SQL skills

• Expert level knowledge of SQL for the purposes of developing complex and efficient data queries

• Must have a minimum of 3+ years in financial or investment banking

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of storage technology to effectively configure database systems

• Knowledge and expertise in EMC SAN environment is a plus

• Knowledge Microsoft’s .NET framework 3.5/4.0 with Visual Studio 2003/2005/2008, C#, ASP.NET, MVC 3.0/4.0, XML/XSLT, XML Web Services, RSS and AJAX

• Knowledge of SQL Server SSAS (2005, 2008)

• Ability to effectively work within a team environment
