Our client is seeking an

IT field Service Engineer

to join their team and independently manage their primary accounts in the province of Alberta.

This role requires that you are able to work independently, while communicating regularly with the head office.

Requirements:

– 5 years demonstrated success in computer system/network administration

– Database maintenance and management

– IT field service support

– Proven expertise and strong ability to increase reliability and maximize productivity

– Solid communication skills and ability to work under pressure

The ideal candidate will have expertise in the following areas:

– Network Architecture

– Technology deployment

– Security administration

– Resource Management

– Configuration and implementation of small and big applications

– Integration, installation and support

– Diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair

– Excellent Customer service skills (minimum 3 years experience)

Technical Requirements:

College or University diploma

MCDST, A+ Certifications

Operating Systems: MS Window Server 2000, 2003, Vista, XP and 2007

Networking: Local Area (LAN), Wide area network (WAN) , TCP/IP

Software: MS office (word, excel, power point, outlook) exchange

Hardware: CISCO Routers, Hubs, Switches, CISCO PIX Firewall

Tools: McAfee/Symantec Antivirus, Backup Exec 10
