Key Responsibilities

• Within the team and technology infrastructure under the supervision of network and IT maintain the quality of network service within the company;
• Produce all the documentation necessary for the proper conduct of the project / network security;
• Participate in the deployment and integration of technical solutions;
• Support team members operating in the projects implementation;
• Implement configuration standards networking systems using the technologies of IP networks. (Routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers);
• Administer IP telephony technology platforms, maintaining connections – WAN, VPN, AAA;
• Ensure IT support (Support Level 1 and 2);
• Perform other related duties related to the position of network administrator.

Skills needed

• College degree in computer science, electrical engineering or other equivalent training;
• 5 + years of relevant experience in managing complex networks of big business
• Cisco certification (CCNA, CCSA) considered an asset;
• Technological environments: Platform LAN / WAN, TCP / IP, Spanning Tree, OSPF, BGP, QoS, VLAN, SAN, cellular, wireless;
• Experience in consulting engineering and / or professional services considered an asset;
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written;
• Availability for remote technical support evening / weekends as needed;
• Bilingualism considered an asset but not mandatory.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server, VMware, backup systems, storage technologies (SAN), Blade server technologies
