This is a Windows engineering role within a highly distributed global enterprise organization. The position is highly technical and hands-on with an equal focus on both Windows desktop and server. The ideal candidate will have a very strong technical foundation as well as a strategic mindset, good communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.

Skills Required

* Expertise with Microsoft desktop & server operating systems (Windows XP/7 and 2003/2008)

* Deep technical understanding of Windows infrastructure services (e.g. AD, GPO, CIFS, DFS) within the enterprise

* Experience managing system and user configuration across large, distributed environments

* Strong troubleshooting mindset (i.e. parsing event log, sysinternals tools, analyzing memory dumps)

* Scripting ability highly desired (whether with PowerShell, WMI, VBScript, etc.); development experience is a plus

* Experience with enterprise security technologies (i.e. PKI, encryption, NAC/NAP, DLP) is a plus

* Experience with relational databases is a plus

* Experience with virtualization technologies (i.e. VMware, XenServer, Citrix) is a plus

* Ability to write technical and operational management documentation (system design and engineering documents, operational runbooks)

* Experience giving presentations, strong communication skills
