Our client, a fast-growing private company, specializing in the development and marketing for automotive industry is looking for a Junior System Administrator to provide a help desk to all internal employees.
As System Administrator, you report to the Director of Information Technology and perform routine Database, Systems, Network and Workstation management. Your responsibilities include managing all the workstations, creating and managing user accounts and email addresses, managing the office and vpn firewall rules and access.
You are also responsible for quickly responding to all maintenance needs, including evenings and weekends.
Your technical skills include:
• 2-3 years experience Microsoft Windows Workstations and Mac Workstations connected to a Windows Domain
• Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007, Server 2008 and Active Directory and Windows XP Professional as well as Windows 7 and MacOSX
• General networking knowledge including routers/firewall setup and management, preferably with Sonicwall, Cisco and Dell
Your soft skills include an ability to organize, prioritize and execute tasks accordingly. Our company has a dynamic team environment, but you’ll also need to be a self-starter and be comfortable working independently.
